Long-distance move from Gardner, IL to Tacoma, WA

Highly recommended!

The three-man moving company arrived on time and ready to start with materials in hand on the day of the transfer. They transferred everything from the old site to the new location in two hours, rather than the three to four hours that had been expected. Thank you, this Movers, and everyone else who contributed.

Stressless Move from Fl-MI

I got the call from Savanna with Priority and things were smooth sailing from the start. She made me and my wife especially comfortable and the move which we dreaded was actually easy and stress free. Moving crew was on time , quick and accurate. Oh and they all were COVID prepped with there masks amd gloves. Ive already recommended them to a couple other guys from my jobs relocation crew. Glad its over but definitely wouldn't be horrified to do it again haha.

Liars and scam artists

What this company does is CRIMINAL. They lied every step of the way. I've never encountered such a group of DISHONEST people. I don't know how they can live with themselves knowing the SCAM they are running. Any review here that is not 1 star is a review they paid for.

I won't go into the details of everything that went wrong my only advice is DON'T USE THEM. And if you have already paid a deposit, pay no more until you receive your items. They will threaten you along the way but don't back down--they are all empty threats. The condition in which we received our belongings was shocking and you'll have no leverage if you pay before delivery arrives (we didn't pay). Just look at the picture of the moving truck.

Criminal Enterprise

So disappointed that I chose this company. They hooked me with a low initial quote which included an inventory over the phone so it seemed reasonable. Just before the move, the final phone inventory was done and the price jacked up, the cubic feet had doubled. On pick-up cubic feet went up again. Final cost over TRIPLE of the initial quote.

And they didn’t even handle my stuff carefully, lots of breakage of my items and I had packed them with great care.

The dispatcher, Ashley, is rude and unprofessional.

I lost a lot of money by choosing this company.

All Negative Reviews are True-DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE. Same exact experiences, similar results as all others. Actual movers dumped my 76 yr old friend’s stuff in the lobby of her building because I would not pay the final extortion fee of $200 for them to use the elevator & actual moving equipment available to them, in the lobby of the building. Their paperwork, not filled out at pick up, was on “Western Moving” paperwork, supposedly a company out of Miami. Called phone numbers (while move was in process) — NonExistent. Took photos of what I think were undocumented Romanian aliens with no actual credentials or equipment. Wen I told them numbers were phony, they got the heck out of there fast.

Use anyone else

To sum up this long post and save you some time: USE LITERALLY ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY.

Moving across the country is hard. Moving across the county is the middle of a global pandemic isn’t fun. Moving across the country and not have clothes or furniture for 70 days is unacceptable.

I was told on my first phone call that the company doesn’t outsource. It’s all family owned. I’m sure if you call, you’ll be told the same thing. They also won’t tel you that they have a 30 day spread to deliver your stuff. They won’t tell you that until your stuff is already loaded on the truck and ready to go.

Let me tell you. It took them 40 days over the 30. It took 70 days. Which is ridiculous.

I would call for an update and no one any answers. Ever. I swear it’s the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered and I spent three hours on the phone with AT&T one time.

Once I finally got my stuff, most of my furniture was damaged in some way. All of my boxes were dented. Don’t waste your time writing fragile on your boxes. All of your plates are going to be broken anyway.

I hope that they can sleep at night knowing they’re liars and frauds.

The company that they subcontracted to was S&M Relo. I had to have a lawyer contact them to get my stuff delivered. Then, my stuff was contracted out again to Coast to Coast. So, just go with coast to coast to being with and save yourself the trouble.

Still waiting on our movers…

Still waiting on our movers… still haven’t showed up. Priority Home Relocation set us up with Moving and Storage Squad LLC,orM&SRelo, and NOW they are saying we only paidPriority HomeRelocation to reserve storage on a truck, they don’t do anything else. So, if we paid them to have to reserve a space on the truck, and we still don’t have a truck here (much less space!) then this is a breach of contract.

I booked these moving services 3 months ago. What a cluster f. DO NOT USE THEM. If I could give fewer stars, I would. A one star is too generous.

Avoid this company!

Stay away from this company. They are a broker who contracts with moving companies that lose your items and don't care. Go with a direct moving company. They will over charge you, lose your items and don't really give a damn when you contact them about it. I will never work with a broker again and absolutely would never use priority home relocation again.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2300

Official company response

Our team here at Priority Relocation LLC are very disappointed that this is the experience you have had with our company. We do charge according to the moving estimate contract which explains that the cost of the move is dependent on the volume, if the volume increases the price will increase as well. We do care about our clients and if there were any damaged or lost items, you can reach out to our customer service department. We would be more than happy to walk you through a claims process.

Lied. Over charged.

I was assured by the sales rep, Gianna Ross, that they are a direct mover with their "own trucks". This is a lie. They are a broker who contracts with the shadiest direct movers. I was told we would have our items within 3-5 business days. We are now on day 11 with no answers. We have two small children who have been sleeping on the floor for nearly 2 weeks. The actual movers that showed up drove our items 325 miles in the opposite direction where they still sit. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, these are fraudulent scammers.

Great company good price.

I used this company and couldn’t have been happier. I moved from New York ( Long Island) to Florida. I received the price quoted from my agent Gianna Ross. They were prompt and I received everything within the time frame. 3 days as promised.

At first I was hesitant after reading past reviews. But Gianna answered every concern I had up until delivery to my door. They are family operated. My experience was great. All I can say is I was absolutely satisfied and wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. Thanks priority home relocation!

Long-distance move from Chicago, IL to Dillon, CO

Priority Home Relocation is a Scam.

Long story short, they grossly underestimate the cost of your move and then send a subcontractor to extort you. Priority Home Relocation or Colonial Moves You are the names of the front company. They then use two different subcontractors to fulfill the move. The subcontractors add thousands of dollars in charges that directly violate your original contract. The subcontractors used for our move were Nabout Movers LLC and AJ Pro Logistics.

They only picked up half the stuff stated in the contract.

Then they attempted to hold our stuff hostage to get more cash from us. In addition to damaging the property, they did move. They didn't even move our stuff into our apartment, they dropped it on the side of the road.

The full story of my move is here:

Worst company ever!

Was supposed to move on september 26,2020 they promised between 12-2 never showed up couldn't get in contact with anyone at the office or dispatch finally got a hold of the driver who said he was in a major accident the day before. then when the driver finally showed up he demanded 3 times the cost we were quoted. because they were another company because priority home relocation isn't a family business were told they are a brokerage firm. had we known that to begin with they never would have gotten our money. the other company calls us a week later also demanding the same 3 times cost my sister was told when picking up her stuff. fine we paid just to get her stuff out of their warehouse more than 3 weeks after the move. they get up to where we live finally the inside the truck looked like a hurricane had just blown thru stuff was thrown everywhere. we get her 55" tv off which I told her to go immediately and plug in and test it which was all broke to hell, along with several of the totes she packed her stuff into. and they actually left with an exercise bike still on the truck I had to call them back to have them turn around. bottom line this company is a scam company DO NOT USE THEM!!

Move size: Studio Service cost: $2200

Official company response

On behalf of Priority Home Relocation LLC we are deeply apologetic for the experience that you had for your relocation. Unfortunately, in this industry there are unforeseen circumstances that come about just as with the driver's accident assigned to your route. There are some instances where situations that occur that are completely out of our control and if we could prevent them, we certainly would. The binding estimate prior to pick up is based off of the volume being transported, if there any additional items added on that date the price will increase dependent on that as explained in the contract.

In regards to the damaged items, we do have a claims department where you can actively submit for compensation towards the damaged items. We are very disappointed that you had this experience and believe our company is a scam which is not the case.

Terrible Service

I got an original quote for ~$4,000 on a move from Los Angeles to Kansas City for a 2 bedroom home and workout equipment. Placed down payment as required. Got a follow-up call to review the move 48 hours before they arrived for the move (less than the 72 hour cancellation window) and priced was increased due to representatives additional questions. Price almost doubled, but without ability to get deposit back or to change service providers, accepted the upcharge. For example, on the first call, I told them we had bedroom set with 2 dressers and a king size bed. The person calling 48 hours in advanced asked if the bed had a frame and box springs. I said yes, and they said I didn't tell them there were box springs or a frame and that increases the cost. Maybe just me, but I'd assume most people using this service are not putting their mattresses on the floor. I would have assumed they would have either 1) asked that specific question up front, or 2) assumed that box springs went with the mattress. Many other similar examples to this one.

Either way, once the movers got there, the cost increased again. Ended up at $9,300. Again, no way to change at this point so reluctantly had to agree. I read reviews that warned about up-charging throughout the process, but brushed off as a one-off. Not the case. Also, I was also told by the first person I booked the services with that she would be my point of contact throughout the entire process. Again, not the case. I haven't spoken to the original person yet...and I've called multiple times throughout the process. Same thing every time I call. I ask for the original person (I'm avoiding specific names) and I'm always put on hold and not surprisingly every time they say she's busy. They sell you a good story on the initial call. It's all downhill from there. If you decide to ignore this review, then I wish you luck.

First of all moving is extremely stressful. It's listed as the top 5 Major life stressors. Trust me, look it up. NOW, Ms. Savanna gave me serenity and comfort. The move really went well and easy. Worst customer service and my stuff is 2 weeks late for delivery

So far this company has been the worst to work with. I have had very little communication from them from the moment I signed on. I litterly have only recived a single blast email about the movers coming the day before they picked up my stuff. Pure silence since. Didnt hear anything from them the day my stuff was supposed to come. Called told the driver was a day away three different days by three different people. Called the other day was told my stiff was in NJ. I was moving from pa! Now im in texas. Mind you I gave them 3 weeks to deliver. Tried calling yesterday but was on hold for an hour before giving up. Guess im going to be contacting a lawyer, stay away from these scammers.

Do not use this company

This company is a scam. I ended up paying $1400 more than their "over-estimated maximum quote" (I decided last minute before they showed up to not move couple of things so I reduced the amount of stuff to be moved than what was estimated). They make you pay deposit first, delay your moving date so that on your pick-up day, you cannot afford to change your moving company or have time to argue/re-schedule everything. Then you get a different moving company show up at your door who threatens you to pay more or not move your stuff. Then, they screw up your schedule by changing the delivery date that is completely favorable to them, (they made me receive my stuff 2 days before my first available date, otherwise I had to pay for storage), and when they deliver, it is yet, another company, and they, again, demand you pay more than agreed for moving the stuff "over a long distance", otherwise they would not start moving your stuff. Bottom line, do not use this company, and ignore the false reviews with 4-5 stars written by their own fraudulent people.

Long-distance move from Hampton, VA to Colorado Springs, CO

BEWARE

I relocated from VA to Colorado, and I selected Priority Home Relocation to assist with the move. It has been the absolute worst experience. The move was set up, deposit made. I was told that I would be contacted the day before the move with the pickup time. I was contacted about a week in advance by a random man who stated that the driver was in the area and he wanted to pick up the shipment the next day. That was not acceptable, as I was not officially leaving the residence for another 5 to 6 days. I then received another phone call about 2 days later and experienced the same scenario. My items were picked up, and it was going to be extensively more than the quote, in which I was expecting, so there was no issue there. There was going to be a delay in me needing the shipment and the company offers 30 day free warehousing, which I contacted Priority to request the hold. During this time, I received a call from a random man stating that he had been trying to contact me, and that I needed to pay 50 to 60 percent immediately. He claimed to have attempted to contact me various times. I would not have answered, because I had no idea who the man was, and I definitely was not going to send 50 or 60% of what was owed to a random caller. I was finally ready for my shipment and I contacted Priority to let them know that I was ready for my shipment. I was told, ok, it would be delivered. I received a call from this random man again, who let me know that Priority is a Broker, and that I was supposed to talk to him about my shipment. I listened, but I was still unsure, as I did not contract with a random man, but with who I thought was a reputable business. From that day, the fun began. I called Priority daily, requesting to know when my shipment would be delivered, and was told, it was going to be delivered that day, which was 2 weeks ago now. I was put on hold, hung up on, and told that I would be contacted, in which none of those things occurred. I finally found out a name for the random man, "Mike" who was 1st identified as "Dispatch, and Dispatch Supervisor." I later found out that he was actually representing MDA Relocation LLC. There has been so many fables and unprofessionalism in this process and I am relatively confident that I will not be getting my shipment at this point, that I do not want anyone else to have this experience. I spoke to "Mike" who gave me a random gmail account and wanted me to send the 50 or 60% through Zelle, which I declined. I was finally given an account number for the business in which I took steps to document the transaction, prior to providing payment, and contacted this supposed "Mike" by text to let him know that the payment had been made, and I received no response. I then contacted Priority and was put on hold, and hung up on so many times. If I was lucky enough to talk to someone, I was told lies, upon lies. Every time I talked to someone, they were on hold for dispatch, or they were waiting for dispatch, or they would say, didn't the driver call ?I was then given to the supposed Supervisor of dispatch, named "Mike" who acted like we never spoke, and he claimed that I had spoken to another person names "Mike." I could go on and on, but my goal now is so that NOBODY will ever experience what I have. It is about to be Christmas, I have no furniture, and I probably will not get it, and all I have gotten is LIES. Be mindful that when you contract with these companies online, they are probably a Broker, and the actual business they use them, to prevent their true identity from being shared. They can provide bad service, hire a Broker, and you will think that you are working with a reputable company when all the time, they are just a cover for unscrupulous businesses. ***BEWARE***

Liars

I can’t believe there’s people out there who take advantage of others during a pandemic. We contacted this company for a long distance move, got a quote for 4K and made a $1,100 payment, when the movers who they hired arrived, they said if we wanted to move everything, we had to pay 3k more than agreed and maybe they could fit everything so we called them and asked them to cancel since no service was provided. Some lady, after a lot of arguing said ok and gave a confirmation number for the refund of the 1,100 and said it would be 7-10 business days before we got the money, it’s been almost a month and we are still waiting on the refund, when we called the bank, to file the dispute, they said this people had contacted them and said they did provide service to us. I wish I knew when they provided the service because as far as I know, WE DIDNT USE THEIR SERVICE AND WE NEED OUR MONEY BACK. what’s worse is we tried to have them go down a little on the price and the lady was very rude and said ok to the refund after we asked for a manager that was never called because she agreed. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AND THE BIGGEST SCAM THAT I HAVE SUFFERED. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, the 5 stars reviews are mostly fake from their own employees to get you to work with them.

Most horrible experience in my life

Brokers. Liars, Theifs. Do not use!! You are better off donating everything or selling. They stole or broke most but they didn't get half on the truck because he insisted on more money which I didn't have. Loading and delivery was done late on a weekend night so you cannot call the office. But they don't help. Put on hold forever and told someone will call tomorrow. We are mid 70's in age and spent Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years with nothing and paid $4300 for that experience. Save your money and your mind and just buy new stuff to begin with. Their license needs to be revoked immediately. Total crooks!

BEWARE- DO NOT USE- Awful Service- Can't get my refund

I contracted Priority Home Relocation as I guess a subcontractor of Colonial Moves/Movers, when I was trying to move from Texas to Colorado, and had them pop up as a recommended mover on some relocation site I was searching. (The site had excellent reviews, though I now believe these were fake.) I was given a quote as well as several discounts if I booked same-day. This sounded like a great deal (I'd already talked to 3 other companies and these guys were coming in several hundred dollars less-- a good savings but not so much cheaper as to alarm me), so I booked them and paid a little over $900 as deposit-- a third of my move costs-- but ended up needing to cancel due to a reimbursement cap from my job. I submitted my cancellation 8 days prior to my scheduled move (well within the refund guidelines as described to me when I signed up), and was told by my original "specialist" that she'd seen refunds issued as quickly as 3 days from submission. Then I was transferred to an accounting specialist, who corrected that to 5-7 days (ok, fine). I called 5 days later to confirm details and was corrected to "5-7 BUSINESS days" for the refund. On the 7th business day I called again, and was told 10 business days. 10th business day-- I called-- was told, "oh your refund is in the batch we're submitting Friday, so you should have the refund by Monday." Fast Forward to Monday-- we are at 17 days now-- and still no refund. Even worse, the agent I spoke to ("Tammy") talked over me when I was trying to give her my information, THEN put me on hold while I was mid-sentence trying to ask a question. And as of now (Monday) I'm being told that the refund that was supposed to be submitted to their bank last week was "still being processed". I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told that the Accounting Supervisor "Susan" was unavailable but could call me "at some point" to discuss, and "Tammy"'s supervisor "Amanda" couldn't call me back to discuss the employee behavioral issues for "at least 72 hours." Long story short, BEWARE of these people, and DO NOT give them any kind of deposit. Getting your refund back from them is like pulling teeth. I wish I had never found them. As a single parent who just moved cross-country, I desperately need that money back, and these folks are in ZERO hurry to take care of it.

This company is a Scam

This company is a total scam. DO NOT use them. I started to realize things were fishy so I cancelled my move, and they kept my $750 deposit even thought it was supposed to be fully refundable. I called several times over several months to get it back and they claimed that I would get my money back in 7-14 days but it never happened. I also made the mistake of paying with a check over the phone. A “new thing they were trying out” that would save me $100. So I couldn’t even put a stop on the check when I found out they were a scam. They use the positive reviews of priority auto relocation but I called them and they are in no way associated. The owner told me he gets calls a lot about this and wanted me to report them to the BBB. The company that cashed my check is called Arpin Moving Group LLC. I think they have several shell corps. Long-distance move from Phoenix, AZ to Houston, TX

Scam Artists; STAY AWAY!

Beware! Please take this seriously.

Bottom line: They are not a legitimate company, they do not have any trucks/crew, they are only an intermediary. They give you a great estimate and once you sign the contract and give the deposit, you are doomed! They charge you twice. It is a classic fraud! Stay away!

I moved from Phoenix to Houston, and I did not want to spend too much on moving my stuff because it simply was not worth it. So, I gave my phone number to one of the websites that mover “companies” use to find customers. Within 30 seconds someone (Savanna: s.hambrick@priorityhomerelocation.com) called me, and after reviewing all my items and giving me ridiculous discounts (Tariff Discount: 65.08%), my estimate was $1592, 304 cf. (2128 lbs), $3.90 per cf.

Savanna insisted that I must sign the contract, otherwise the rate would go up (B.S.). Anyway, I did not do that and talked to a few other companies and they also gave me roughly the same estimate. I ended up choosing PRIORITY HOME RELOCATION LLC because Savanna gave me the first estimate.

Before signing the contract, she was like you can have my number and call me ANYTIME for help. However, after signing the contract, she never answered my phone calls. Every time I called, and she heard my voice, she hung up. I call again, and somebody else picks up (supposedly Savanna’s phone number). I think they are 3 people sitting next to each other!

Pickup: some guy came (driver) and he is like “you have too much stuff, I have to call my BOSS”. His boss did not answer for two hours, and we are just waiting for him. After 2 hours, he calls and gives me another estimate. It turns out, they are another company (S & M RELO LLC). My new estimate is $2554 plus ridiculous fees that add up to $2800. I had already paid the $500 deposit fee to PRIORITY HOME RELOCATION LLC and I was supposed to be on my way to Houston in a few hours! I was hooked. No option! The second company also charged me for gas. I paid $155 (75+80) for gas!!! They said one is for pick up and one is for delivery.

I still have not received my stuff and waiting for them to give me an ETA for delivery after one week. My furniture is still in storage in Phoenix.

I cannot do anything about the money I lost, but I will do everything in my capacity to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

P.S. I believe most of these mover companies are like this. Keep in mind that whatever estimate they give you, you must presume it is going to get doubled.
